For Years, the ‘1000-Lb Sisters’ Have Promised to Reclaim Their Health.

Why Are Some TLC Fans Pleading with The Network to Terminate the Show Before Season 4?
Amy and Tammy haven’t made much progress in their weight loss journeys after three seasons of 1000-Lb Sisters. Tammy, on the other hand, has gained unhealthy attention as a result of the reality show and has been surrounded by enablers. And it’s getting difficult to overlook the sisters’ health issues being exploited.
Has the Slaton Family made any memorable television in the last three years? Sure. However, some people have noticed that working as a TV personality while attempting to reduce weight and be healthy isn’t helping Amy or Tammy reach their goals. They haven’t even used any of TLC’s bariatric resources. This is why many fans are hoping that 1000-Lb Sisters be cancelled by the network.
Furthermore, after season 3, viewers discovered through social media that Amy and Tammy are still struggling with their weight loss goals. In fact, the scale is tipping in the opposite direction. Amy is expecting her second child. Tammy is still trying to regain her ability to breathe and is in weight-loss rehab.

Some Fans Believe a Second Season of ‘1000-Lb Sisters’ Would Be Unethical.
Although viewers are still interested in Amy and Tammy’s story, some believe the Slaton family would be better off avoiding the TLC cameras. “I kinda hope 1000-Lb Sisters gets cancelled,” one Reddit user admitted recently.
“It’s clear that Tammy and Amy, as well as the rest of the family, are suffering from mental illness. Another Redditor added, “At some point, a long time ago, tlc crossed the line of are they helping Tammy (everyone but Tammy) or hurting Tammy merely by being on the show.”
“Clearly, Tammy can’t handle her newfound celebrity, and it’s more than likely going to contribute to her death than anything else.” She’s clearly being paraded and exploited like some f***ed-up freak show carnival or a circus’s old ass elephant. Nobody raises any ethical problems because TlC is virtually begging for her death.”
The band 1000-Lb Sisters is on hiatus at the moment. Season 4 has yet to begin filming.
