The narrative of two conmen is told in BUNTY AUR BABLI 2. Rakesh (Saif Ali Khan) and Vimmi (Rani Mukerji) have settled in Phursatganj 15 years after the events in the previous film.
They have a kid, Pappu, and are no longer in the con business. Inspector Jatayu Singh (Pankaj Tripathi) arrests them one day after they defraud a group of middle-aged men. Each member of the group had paid Rs. 5 lakhs to a couple named Kunal Singh (Siddhant Chaturvedi) and Sonia Rawat in exchange for a trip to Virgin Island (Sharvari).
When these men arrived at the airport, they discovered they had been duped. These enraged guys storm into Kunal and Sonia’s workplace, only to discover the Bunty and Babli logo. Dashrath Singh’s (Amitabh Bachchan) team was in charge of solving the Bunty and Babli case, and Jatayu was a junior cop on the team.
As a result, he was aware of their whereabouts and was able to apprehend them. Rakesh and Vimmi maintain their innocence. Jatayu, on the other hand, refuses to believe them. When Kunal and Sonia pull off another trick while Rakesh and Vimmi are in detention, he realises his error.
This time, they deceive a mayor (Yashpal Sharma) of a town in western Uttar Pradesh by claiming to be selling the Ganga river’s lease. Rakesh and Vimmi receive an offer from Jatayu.
He requests their assistance in locating the new Bunty and Babli. Rakesh and Vimmi agree because they are offended that their brand, which they built with a lot of effort, is being used by others. The rest of the movie is built around what happens next.
BUNTY AUR BABLI 2 is off to a great start. The first half’s three con jobs keep spectators interested. Jatayu’s entrance is both heroic and amusing. After the intermission, Rakesh and Vimmi will head to Abu Dhabi to apprehend the con couple. However, the plot points that follow fail to entice. The ending is meant to be sinister, but it’s also ridiculous and predictable.

BUNTY AUR BABLI 2 is off to a good start. The opening part of the film features three con jobs that keep spectators interested. Jatayu’s entrance is both heroic and humorous. Following the intermission, Rakesh and Vimmi will head to Abu Dhabi to apprehend the con couple. However, the plot points that follow do not excite. The ending is meant to be wicked, yet it’s both silly and predictable.
Saif Ali Khan isn’t in the best of shape. And it’s surprising because he’s known for acing a variety of genres. In the first half, Rani Mukerji is overly loud and out of rhythm with her role. The one scene in which she excels is when she blasts Kunal and Sonia in the breakfast area, and it is remembered only for her performance.
Siddhant Chaturvedi makes an impression and proves that he has the potential to be a hero. Sharvari makes a strong first impression and looks hot. Both actors’ performances, however, suffer from a lack of focus on their distinct backstories. Pankaj Tripathi is dependable and entertaining, as one could anticipate.
The late Mohit Baghel (Golu Chaubey) left a mark in the scene where he apologises to Sonia, while Yashpal Sharma is nice. Nand Kishor’s Gopal Dutt is a beautiful actor. Rajiv Gupta (Gupta; policeman) is a decent actor.
Prem Chopra, Neeraj Sood (Chadha), Asrani (Thahrey Singh), Brijendra Kala (Mehmood), and Asrani (Thahrey Singh) have no part in the film. Agrim Mittal (Pappu Trivedi) and Mahi Soni (Rinku Awasthi) are both adorable, but the former’s character might have been developed out more.
