This is something everyone knows about. After the events of season 4, Cobra Kai’s dojo looks to be getting stronger every day. On the other hand, their bullying is becoming increasingly harsher. They took over Cobra Kai when Terry Silver, who is now in prison after being imprisoned for trying to kill Kreese, took it from Kreese. Miyagi-Do is the only thing that can stop them now. The most dangerous person in the valley, along with his karate students, is on the loose. Can Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso keep their karate-loving teenagers together long enough to defeat him?
More than ever before, the future of the Valley is on the line. The karate championship is a bitter turning point that could have a huge impact on the world outside of martial arts. This is what we know so far about what’s to come in season five.

Season 5 of Cobra Kai: What to Expect
With Kreese blamed for the assault of Sting Ray, Terry Silver is free to completely take over Cobra Kai and disseminate the vision he’s had for the dojo.
With several new Cobra Kai dojos set to develop all throughout the Valley, expect a huge spike in new students, which could lead to confrontations between Cobra Kai and the students of other dojos.
Hurwitz has revealed that in season 5 we get to see Silver’s goals “fully realised” adding that he’ll be extending the Cobra Kai franchise.
Unable to accept the dishonest manner in which Cobra Kai went about winning the All Valley Tournament, Daniel LaRusso will continue instructing pupils at his Miyagi-Do dojo, despite his own promises to the contrary.
To aid his struggle against Cobra Kai, Daniel has enlisted the services of Chozen Toguchi, his old opponent and new buddy, who is currently the sensei of Miyagi-Do karate in Okinawa.
In an attempt to make up for Anthony’s bullying of new child Kenny, during the All Valley competition, he sought to make peace with the Cobra Kai student, only for the bullied to express their intention to become the bully after they graduate high school.
Daniel was prepared to begin teaching Anthony karate, and in order to defend himself, against Kenny, Anthony may have no alternative but to study Karate.
Although he has switched sides, Robby has attempted to find a medium ground between the Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai beliefs. His heartbreaking understanding that his mentoring of Kenny has led to the birth of a bully, and one who intends to torment his ex-girlfriend’s little brother, has caused the young man to seek the assistance of his dad.
If Robby feels bad for coaching Kenny, Johnny will push him to leave Cobra Kai. However, Robby may stay in the dojo to atone for his faults.
To make matters worse for Tory, the All Valley women’s champion heard Terry paying off the referee, which has stained her victory totally. Just like Robby, she will find herself at a crossroads which may cause her to abandon Cobra Kai.
Unbeknownst to Miguel, he is absolutely oblivious that his biological father doesn’t know he exists. On top of being a “bad man” if Miguel finds his father he could be opening a door in his life that he can never close again.
Johnny intends to go to Mexico City in order to find his little student, but knowing Johnny he’ll get himself into all kinds of difficulty, especially if there is a clash with Miguel’s father.
If Johnny can convince Miguel to return home, anticipate Miguel’s father to be following just behind.
Kreese has been framed for the assault of Sting Ray, and strangely the only person who may be able to save the Cobra Kai sensei is former student Johnny Lawrence. Johnny was the victim of an assault by Terry Silver, therefore if he gets back from Mexico he may be the only hope Kreese has of getting out of jail.

Has Cobra Kai been renewed for a sixth season?
At the time of writing Netflix has yet to confirm whether or not Cobra Kai has been renewed for a sixth season. The renewal for the fifth season was confirmed when Netflix revealed the season 4 release date.
If a sixth season is in the works, we expect to hear about it around the same time as the release date for Cobra Kai season 5.
It must also be noted that Netflix has not announced ahead of time that season 5 is the final of the show, which heavily suggests we’ll get more of Cobra Kai beyond the fifth season.
We’ve heard that the show’s creators had originally envisioned six seasons, so here’s hoping they get their wish.
