The Plot of Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness is as follows:

One of the most difficult things for staunch Wanda fans to comprehend is that the Scarlet Witch is the story’s main villain. Wanda isn’t here to assist Doctor Strange with his universe quandary. She’s here to wreak havoc on the MCU.

Wanda’s travels and the reason she’s the villain are described in the Doctor Strange 2 plot leak. She believes her children are in danger and is willing to go to any length to save them.

Doctor Strange and Wong, on the other hand, will do everything in their power to stop Wanda and provide America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez) a safe haven. Early in the film, she’ll be taken to the main MCU universe, in a scenario that Marvel teased at CinemaCon just a few days ago.

That scene description can also be found in the storyline leak for Multiverse of Madness.

America Chavez offers a fresh version of a power that we’ve seen before in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in numerous ways. Wanda is after her because she has the ability to open portals between realities. The Scarlet Witch wants to take that power so she can use it to transport herself to the reality where her children are in peril.

Wanda can only travel by astral projection without America. As a result, she winds herself at the Illuminati’s headquarters. Wanda gets into a brawl while wearing a sweater and pants in that scenario.

Doctor Strange 2 collects the biggest opening of 2022

Sales over the weekend

In its opening weekend in theatres in the United States and Canada, ‘Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness grossed an estimated $185 million. The summer movie season got off to a bang with this film.

The year’s biggest kickoff

It’s the year’s best opening weekend, topping $134 million for ‘The Batman.’ It is the pandemic’s second-highest-grossing film, trailing only $260.1 million for ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home.’ It’s also the world’s sixth-largest ever.

Markets throughout the world

Since its opening on Wednesday, it has grossed an estimated $265 million internationally. “Doctor Strange 2” has thus far grossed $450 million worldwide.

Footprint is enormous

In addition, the film has a huge footprint. In the United States and Canada alone, it’s showing in 4,534 theatres. This is the seventh-largest opening in Disney history, according to the company. The box office for premium formats, such as IMAX and 3D, accounted for 36% of the total.

Ticket sales of $4 billion

The summer film season in Hollywood usually begins in early May and ends in late August. With the exception of the previous two years, this season accounts for almost 40% of the total revenue for the year.

Budget for film

“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” was directed by Sam Raimi and is said to have cost around $200 million to produce. This does not include the millions of dollars spent on movie marketing and promotion.

Social media’s craze

The film has been trending on social media this weekend for a variety of reasons, including its numerous cameos and a heated debate about the film’s PG-13 categorization and whether the horror components justified a more stringent rating.

Review of Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (which opens tonight in the US as a theatrical exclusive) proves that a superb picture can work even when twisted around a clichéd plot. Despite its predictability, it is a great example of Marvel Studios letting filmmakers be themselves—and demonstrates how brilliant, visually compelling filmmaking can transcend “formulaic” plot elements into a captivating journey for numerous people. (Plus, after so much alternate-universe wackiness in previous Spider-Man flicks, this one pleasantly surprises with new applications of the concept.)
