The Dragon Ball Super series is currently on hiatus, but the anime will make a comeback when Dragon Ball Super-Super Hero debuts in 2019. A teaser has already been published by Toei Animation, and they’ll be hosting a panel at Comic-Con on Thursday. The anime adaptation of My Hero Academia has revealed new characters on Twitter. The studio also released a fresh poster to excite Otakus for the event, revealing two more characters.

The New York City Comic Con officially opened its doors today, and as you can see in the photograph below, the artwork was already on view. The huge Dragon Ball Super poster, which hung in the convention center, drew attention to the forthcoming film based on the anime series.

Both of the new characters (1 and 2) are aliens with digits on their clothing. The video has two distinct versions. In the original, 1 appears to be a serious person, whereas 2 appears to be a pleasant extraterrestrial. Although they may be linked, it’s unclear if they’re the film’s antagonists. The poster depicts Piccolo and Goku, the two legendary characters from the Dragon Ball Saga. The poster’s viewers are stumped as to where Vegeta has vanished to.

The Dragon Ball Super anime series is a continuation of the Dragon Ball franchise, following the rivalry between Goku, Mr. Satan, and their respective allies in the search for stronger opponents.

The film’s story is likely to be based on the Granolah saga of the manga, as previously leaked character designs show Pan as a youngster. Toriyama-sensei had tried to keep his spoiler-free reveals to a bare minimum, but he did reveal some new characters. Don’t worry, we’ll give you a taste right now.

The Date of Dragon Ball Super’s Release in Japan

The release date for the film is yet to be determined, but it will most likely premiere in movie theaters somewhere around 2022.

On Goku Day, the studio officially announced the film, although it had already leaked inadvertently on Toei’s website prior. Although the leak was swiftly addressed, all Dragon Ball enthusiasts were given a pleasant surprise, and rumors have continued to fly since.
