The Irish-born actor played Becky Conner’s bad-boy boyfriend Mark Healy on “Roseanne,” before he married her (Lecy Goranson). Quinn later appeared in roles on “Angel” and “Fair City,” but he had died by the time “Roseanne” was resurrected in 2018.
It was also reported that Roseanne Barr (Roseanne Conner) will name one of her grandsons Mark in honor of his late uncle, who played Becky’s husband in the original series. On Facebook, series actor Michael Fishman (DJ Conner on the program) wrote about Quinn, “As a show, we never contemplated replacing his character… Glenn is irreplaceable.” Following Mark Healy’s death on the spin-off series “The Conners,” viewers learned that the actor had been killed while riding his motorcycle.
Glenn Quinn died in 2002
By the time he died in North Hollywood, California, on December 3, 2002, Glenn Quinn was only 32 years old. An accidental heroin overdose killed the actor, who had battled drug addiction for years.
