Niece Waidhofer, a model and social media influencer, committed suicide. She frequently sought to support her fans as they battled mental illness.
Sadly, Niece committed suicide following a protracted fight with mental health problems, according to her relatives. Houston, Texas, is where the 31-year-old passed away.
According to her family, she was “very open with her fans about her troubles, even wishing to aid others who also suffered.” According to reports, a non-profit organization named “Peace from Niece” will be founded in her memory. The organization will promote mental health awareness and award grants for the study of mental illnesses.
The relatives of the niece claim that she took satisfaction in the fact that she shot the majority of her images without the help of a professional photographer and authored all of her Instagram posts by herself.
Concerned family members reportedly called law enforcement authorities last month asking them to check on their niece at her home in the Houston region, which is how her body was found.
Waidhofer’s 4.2 million Instagram followers were alarmed when she deleted nearly all of her images from her account, leaving only 3 postings. In fact, she had done that in the days and weeks just before she passed away.
Added by her family: “Despite her difficulties, Niece was more. She was lovely and caring, perceptive and hilarious, clever and creative, kind and giving, thoughtful and demanding.
The fact that she has been reunited with her father, her three grandparents, her beloved Puff, and her uncle Rusty gives us some solace, even if saying goodbye is incredibly painful. We also take solace in the knowledge that she is now free to be herself and at long last, at peace.”
