After an extended wait, Offset is finally scheduled to drop his highly anticipated debut solo album in coming days. Though the album doesn’t have a title as of yet, the one-third Migos rapper has revealed some sneak peeks into what we can expect out of the project. Here’s everything you need to know.

Offset announced February 22 as the release date.

Offset has officially announced a February 22 release date for his as-yet-untitled solo debut.

Metro Boomin and Southside produced the album.

According to Offset on a recent twitter post, Metro Boomin and Southside will be handling the entire production on the project. Offset’s work with Metro and Southside has been impeccable in the past, so there’s no doubt this news is enough to assume there’s going to be plenty of bangers on the project.

Back in 2017, Offset and Metro Boomin teamed up with 21 Savage to drop off their trap collaboration Without Warning. The project included their infectious single “Ric Flair Drip,” which made for one of 2017’s standout singles. Now at 3X platinum, it’s clear that Offset and Metro Boomin’s formula works wonders.

The first single from Offset’s album, Red Room, is out now.

In anticipation to the album release, The Atlanta rapper’s broken off the first single, “Red Room,” along with the official music video directed by Aisultan Seitov. The music video offers a fish-eye lens perspective into what’s on Offset’s mind, culminating in a reinterpretation of his horrific car accident that occurred in 2018.

In a tweet posted prior to the release of the new track and music video, Offset wrote, “My first solo project I want to express my life let my fans know a little more about myself and of course some turn up !!!”

Check out the music video below.

The album will be accompanied by a documentary.

During the night of the 2019 Grammys, in which Offset’s wife Cardi B received the award for the best rap album, a trailer was released that revealed a documentary will also drop on February 22.

In the trailer, clips of the stars with their families, in the studio and onstage were shown, before concluding with Offset tensely standing in an operating room as his wife, Cardi B, went through labor on July 10, 2018. The video finally cut to a title card with the date February 22, 2019.
