My11circle: Match of The Women’s T20 Challenge: Tbl vs. Sno – Match Report

The Supernovas defeated the Trailblazers by 49 runs on Monday at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune to win the first game of the My 11 Circle Women’s T20 Challenge 2022. Pooja Vastrakar’s brilliant four-wicket haul and Harmanpreet Kaur’s outstanding batting performance propelled Supernovas to a decisive 49-run victory.

Hayley Matthews’ powerful hitting and Smriti Mandhana’s graceful shots helped Trailblazers move to 34/0 after 4 overs as they began their successful chase of 164. After Hayley Mathews was caught behind, Pooja Vastrakar gave the Supernovas their first breakthrough, and the Trailblazers led 48-1 at the end of the powerplay.

who kept the scoring going from one end until the Trailblazers lost two wickets quickly. Smriti Mandhana, the captain, and Sophia Dunkley were both caught by Priya Punia off the bowling of Pooja Vastrakar.

In the following over, Alana King rattled Sharmin Akhter’s stumps, putting the Supernovas in control.

After Richa Ghosh was caught in the circle off Sophie Ecclestone’s delivery and Arundhati Reddy was run out the next ball, the Trailblazers lost two more wickets.

After Salma Khatun was caught at the covers by Ecclestone, Pooja Vastrakar finished her spell with a four-wicket haul. Harleen Deol made a great catch off Meghna Singh’s bowling as she dove forward to end Jemimah Rodrigues’ 24-run innings. After Poonam Yadav was caught in the deep by Alana King, the Supernovas went on to win the match by a score of 49 runs.

Having Won the Toss, Supernovas Decided to Bat First After Harmanpreet Kaur.

After smashing a maximum straight down the ground in the first over, Priya Punia demonstrated good intentions. Following that, Deandra Dottin took control and scored three fours in the third over. As Dottin kept making accurate shots, the pair’s fifty partnership was on the line.

Dottin’s 32-ball innings, however, was ended by a successful direct hit from Renuka Singh in the fifth over. At the conclusion of the powerplay, the Supernovas were down to 58-1 before Hayley Matthews took her first wicket by dismissing Priya Punia cleanly. Supernovas reached the 100-run milestone thanks to consecutive fours from Harleen Deol and captain Harmanpreet Kaur in the eighth over. In the second over of her spell, Salma Khatun struck after Harleen Deol was caught LBW in the 12th over.

After Sune Luus and Alana King were both caught in the circle while facing Rajeshwari Gayakwad and Salma Khatun, respectively, the Supernovas lost two more wickets quickly. Harmanpreet Kaur, the captain, continued to score runs quickly after Gayakwad’s bowling produced back-to-back fours. With two overs remaining, Supernovas moved to 149/5. In the penultimate over, trailblazers scored twice.

Pooja Vastrakar was fired by Poonam Yadav, but Harmanpreet Kaur was kicked out due to confusion that occurred in the middle. After Hayley Matthews picked up two wickets and a run-out in the final over, Supernovas were all out for 163 in the first innings.
