Tekashi 6ix9ine is once again in trouble with the law.
According to recent reports from Page Six, 6ix9ine had been charged with aggravated unlicensed operation after he was caught driving without a license on Sunday (May 20). It now appears his arrest is a little more serious than once thought, with the Brooklyn rapper now also being charged with assaulting an officer.
Tekashi parked his red SUV in front of the hydrant on Sterling Place around 4:15 p.m. Sunday, cops said. Once approached, he gave them his real name but couldn’t produce any valid ID. After running a computer check on the Brooklyn rapper, they discovered his license was currently suspended.
Tekashi was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, and on Monday received additional charges for assaulting the cop after allegedly grabbing him by the hand causing pain and swelling.
“He squeezed the [cop’s] hand, causing pain and swelling,” a police spokesman said.
Unfortunately, this comes only days after Tekashi’s debut mixtape, Day69 went gold.
