Tekashi 6ix9ine has once again found himself in a sticky situation after reports reveal he choked a fan inside of Galleria Mall in Houston. An official complaint by the Houston Police Department has been filed and signed off by the Harris County District Attorney, serving as a warrant for the arrest of 6ix9ine.
Documents obtained by iHeartRadio on Thursday (May 10) reveal the New York rapper committed a misdemeanor offense of assault (bodily hard) on Santiago Albarran. According to reports, 6ix9ine “grabbed him by the neck, causing small scratch marks and pain” after attempting to video record the rapper at Galleria Mall.
The physical altercation occurred on January 16 during an organized fan meet and greet with Tekashi and fellow rapper Ugly God. The complainant claimed Tekashi grabbed him by the neck, prompting his bodyguards to surround the pair. Albarran finally deleted the footage to avoid escalating the situation further. Later on, Albarran reported the incident to authorities and used social media to go public with the debacle.
It’s not the first time 6ix9ine has been involved with the law. In late April, 6ix9ine and his entourage were involved in a shooting at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, resulting in a ban from the venue.
