Blueface is undoubtedly one of the most prominent artists to step into the hip-hop scene in 2018. The 22-year-old L.A. rapper, born Jonathon Porter, has been on a rapid rise over the last six months, thanks to his unconventional rapping style that took over the internet.
On Monday’s (Jan. 28) episode of Everyday Struggle with Complex, the “Thotiana” rapper sat down with DJ Akademiks, Nadeska, and Wayno to discuss his meteoric rise to fame, and his introduction to rap. During the interview, Blueface revealed that he has collabs with Drake, Quavo, and G-Eazy on the way.
“Yo recently, no lie, I thought you were capping when you had posted a DM between you and Drake. I thought you were lying. I was ready to expose you,” Akademics said to Blueface during the interview. “I hit Drake directly. I said Drake this n***a said you and him DM’d about a song, tell me if this is fake. He said Nah. He was hella excited. He said sh**s on the way,
sh**s gonna be fire.”
To close out the show, BlueFace spoke on his upcoming album and his tour date spots in the coming months.
