Back in May of 2016, Travis Scott announced he was working on his new album, Astroworld. Fans have been waiting patiently, but unfortunately after two years there’s still no time table for it’s release. Travis has dropped many hints this year about the album, like working with Mike Dean and possibly having Stevie Wonder collab on it, but it appears Travis is getting busy and locking himself in the studio to finalize the album.
On Tuesday, Travis shared a photo on Instagram of himself working in the studio on some new music, with the caption “locked (lock emoji) in, see ya later.” The same day, Travis’ personal photographer also shared the same photo, saying travis is in “album mode..!” while adding a bunch of “world” emojis.
In addition, Travis also shared a rare video clip on his Instagram story from Tuesday of him driving around LA listening to some unreleased music, presumably from the upcoming album. While it’s rather short and hard to make out, it does sound pretty lit from what we can hear.

No word when we can expect to see the release of Astroworld, but hype is building and various hints he keeps dropping have to be alluding to the fact that we’re getting closer to it dropping than we think.
