While rapper Tekashi has carved out a reputation for online trolling and beef, there’s no doubt he still has a heart of gold, regularly going to great lengths in order to do a good deed.

Back in September 2018, Tekashi visited a young boy on behalf of the Make A Wish Foundation who’s final wish was to meet him. Tekashi met up with Franklin, a five-year-old boy who is suffering from stage 4 terminal brain cancer. When 6ix9ine received a call after a performance, the rap star instantly agreed to meet the young boy and made arrangements to get there that same day.

Four months after 6ix9ine visited the young cancer patient, a heartbreaking update that Franklin had passed away has been made public. Franklin battled since his original diagnosis back in December of 2017. A family member said Franklin was extremely brave throughout his battle and is an inspiration to us all.

Watch Tekashi grant Franklins wish for yourself in the video below. When you’re done, you can donate to Franklin’s GoFundMe page.
