Evan Peters starred as Quicksilver in the X-Men film series for Fox, and now he’s featured in Marvel’s WandaVision! In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, the role of Peter was recast with Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff’s late twin brother (Pietro Maximoff). Age of Ultron, Quicksilver was played by Taylor-Johnson and perished in the film.
There was a Quicksilver in both the X-Men films and the Marvel Cinematic Universe because of Marvel’s unusual character rights distribution. Because Marvel sold X-Men and other mutant characters, such as Quicksilver, a mutant and the son of Magneto in the comics, to Fox for years rather than Disney, they were not part of the MCU’s licensing pool. However, Quicksilver was an Avenger in the comics, and when Marvel Studios began making its own movies in 2008 with Iron Man, they retained the rights to the Avengers roster of characters. Even after many years of discussions, there are simply a few heroes who reside in the middle ground and gray areas. Only someone like Quicksilver, who has been a part of the X-Men but also an important Avenger in those books, has gone through this.
Days of Future Past a year earlier. However, the two Quicksilver twins had nothing in common other than their superhuman speed and the fact that they both had white hair. In the MCU, the Mind Stone endowed Pietro Maximoff with abilities, but in the X-Men updated timeline, Peter Maximoff (Evan Peters) was a mutant whose father was Magneto and who was several decades older than Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson). The rights disputes between Marvel and Fox resurfaced following Disney’s acquisition of Fox in 2019, allowing characters like the X-Men and Fantastic Four to be incorporated into the MCU.
The X-Men films were able to beat Marvel in that they teased Quicksilver 11 years ahead of his cinematic debut in Days of Future Past, with the name Maximoff followed by the number (2) on a list of known mutants shown on a computer screen in 2003’s X2 – X-Men United. Despite the fact that the X-Men franchise never tried to construct their own Scarlet Witch, she was included in the Easter egg. Regardless, Quicksilver was one of the most recognized characters in the X-Men film series almost immediately, and Maximoff was considerably more popular than Pietro. Here’s a rundown of all of Evan Peters Quicksilver’s appearances in the X-Men films, as well as WandaVision.
The second season of Grand Army will premiere on Netflix in 2020, and the cast and plot are already well-known.

Quicksilver is renowned for his daring rescue of his superhuman friends in the Pentagon kitchen, which was inspired by Jim Croce’s Time in a Bottle. In The Dark Phoenix, Quicksilver appears.
Quicksilver remained a member of the X-Men throughout the Dark Phoenix saga in 1992. Peter was called in after the space shuttle’s crew was killed by an explosion, and he joined up with them after Jean Grey (Sophie Turner) merged with cosmic energy that transformed her into the Dark Phoenix. Quicksilver was overjoyed to acknowledge the success of the endeavor at Xavier School.
When the X-Men were sent to rescue Jean when she became increasingly wild and went to her native country to confront her estranged father, Quicksilver joined up.
