RRR is a Telugu-language epic action drama film directed by S. S. Rajamouli and written by V. Vijayendra Prasad. It was released in India in 2022. D. V. V. Danayya of DVV Entertainment is in charge of the production. Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Olivia Morris feature in the film.
It’s a fictitious account of two real-life Indian rebels, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao), and their struggle against the British Raj. The story is set in 1920 and explores an undocumented moment in their lives when both revolutionaries chose to disappear before fighting for their country.
Rajamouli stumbled across stories of Rama Raju and Bheem’s life and connected the dots, envisioning what would have happened if they had met and become friends. In March of this year, the movie was officially announced. Due to delays caused by the COVID-19 epidemic, principal photography began in November 2018 in Hyderabad and lasted until August 2021.
The film was shot primarily in India, with a few scenes in Ukraine and Bulgaria thrown in for good measure. M. M. Keeravani composed the film’s music and background score, while K. K. Senthil Kumar shot the footage and A. Sreekar Prasad edited it. V. Srinivas Mohan oversaw the visual effects, while Sabu Cyril was the film’s production designer.

When the British government occupied India in 1920, tyrant governor Scott Buxton and his cruel wife Catherine went to a forest in Adilabad and forcibly took Malli, a young girl with a talent for singing, from the Gond tribe. Komaram Bheem, the tribe’s protector, travels to Delhi to look for the missing daughter.
Scott’s office receives a warning from the Nizamate of Hyderabad concerning Bheem’s mission. Officer A. Rama Raju offers to catch Bheem in order to advance his career. He attends a meeting of independence activists and suggests that Scott be assassinated.
Bheem’s aide Lachhu invites Ram to join them, but when he discovers that Ram is a police officer, he departs. Ram and Bheem happen to cross paths while attempting to save a youngster trapped in a train wreck.
They form bonds with each other while concealing their true identities. Ram assists Bheem in making friends with Scott’s niece Jenny. At Jenny’s request, Bheem goes to the governor’s palace, where he meets Malli and swears to return to save her.
Ram arrests Lachhu and tortures him in vain for information, but Lachhu has a banded krait snake bite Ram and warns him that he would die in an hour unless he has an antidote known only to the Gonds.
Ram locates Bheem, who prepares the antidote and reveals his true name and objective. During a gala, Bheem and his crew break into the castle with a truck full of wild animals. When Scott threatens to shoot Malli, a recovered Ram appears in his police clothes and fights Bheem. What Happens Next Covers The Whole Story!

Rajamouli has a tremendous sense of conveying an epic story. The sheer beauty of Ram Charan and Jr NTR’s introductions would leave you speechless.
RRR has enough good stuff to keep a moviegoer’s interest for the most of its runtime. The emotional component is well-balanced with subtle humour, drama, action sequences, and, of course, some breathtaking images that will leave you speechless.
‘Naacho Naacho’ is a major hit on the soundtrack, and ‘Sholay’ [end credits] is a fitting way to close the picture. The cinematography of KK Senthil Kumar is breathtaking, and it fully captures the scope of the picture. The production design by Sabu Cyril is excellent. Rama Rajamouli’s costumes are well-researched, and the attention to detail is impressive. VFX [V Srinivas Mohan] is up to par with industry standards. One of the film’s merits is its action sequences.
RRR is a teRRRific entertainer that belongs on the big screen. The film has the potential to be a huge hit. It is not to be missed!
