Bret Michaels, the lead singer of the band Poison, was hospitalized minutes before he was scheduled to take the stage, forcing the band to cancel its Thursday night performance in Nashville, according to sources.
Although no official explanation for his hospitalization has been provided, It might be related to a negative COVID-19 drug reaction brought on by his diabetes.
According to reports, the band members entered the stage to inform the audience that frontman George Michaels had experienced a “poor reaction to medication” and that they would be unable to continue the performance without him.
There are now no guarantees for the band’s two additional weekend performances, which are slated for Florida and Mississippi.
