After her mother, Lois Rinna’s tragic death last year, Lisa Rinna apologised for her recent behaviour on Instagram and put the blame on grief.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star shared a quotation on Monday that said, “Grief never stops… ” Last week, she had a fight with co-star Garcelle Beauvais before taking aim at “The Real Housewives of Dubai” ensemble. But things alter. It’s not a place to stay; it’s a journey. Grief does not indicate a lack of strength or faith. It represents the cost of love.
“I have had a really terrible time of it, I think you’ve seen how hard this has struck me,” Lisa wrote as the image’s description. Since it actually has nothing to do with any of you, I apologise if I got angry at you.
The 58-year-old ex-model continued by saying she “never believed” she would experience such tremendous grief that showed up as “so much more” than “sadness and anguish.”
I Am Truly Having Trouble; I Just Never Expected It to Feel This Way, but Here It Is.
“Losing my Mom really impacted me hard,” Rinna continued, thanking everyone for their “patience,” “love,” and “support” at this difficult time. She added, “I know it’s hard for me right now to feel good about myself, but I’ll get through this and maybe come out the other side stronger and better.
Lisa first revealed in November that her mum had passed away a week after having a stroke. On the current season of the show, viewers have seen how the “Housewife” has been coping with the death of her mother. While the majority of the remarks on Lisa’s article were encouraging and sympathetic, Bravo fans in general called BS.
“Grief isn’t a justification for being a jerk. As someone who lost their father when they were 10 years old, I say this,” one individual argued on a Bravo fan account.
“Not sure whether grieving motivates individuals to create foolish and racist things; it certainly doesn’t warrant a pass, well try Lisa,” another person commented. After how she and the cast treated Garcelle, the timing of this looks intentional.
Calling Racism “grief,” as A Third Critic Noted, “Isn’t It.
Why not accept responsibility and extend an apology? instead of just saying, “I’ll get through it,” Didn’t aware that grieving causes you to indulge in microaggressions toward your coworkers or friends, someone else said, “Learn something new every day.”
The incident started when Beauvais—the only black “Housewife” on the show—called rookie Diana Jenkins “uneducated” for making a “racially offensive” remark about a black lady on Instagram.
On her Instagram Story, Lisa entered the controversy by writing, “We fight on our programme. If we fight with Garcelle, we are all suddenly labelled racist. That is nonsense. That is unacceptable to me. I am not frightened of any of you hoes, and I will express myself as I choose.
She Encouraged Viewers of “rhobh” Who Were “so Triggered” to “watch Dubai” Instead.
The “RHODubai” stars Chanel Ayan, Lesa Milan, and Caroline Brooks all took turns destroying Rinna for the unwarranted attack, showing that the new Bravo girls weren’t going to take her punch. Fans continued to question her on why she picked a cast that is predominately made up of people of colour.
Before deleting everything, Lisa merely replied, urging the Dubai women to “bring the type of enthusiasm you just provided to me, to your concert.”
