Due to Health Difficulties, Celine Dion Had to Postpone Performances in Las Vegas.
Celine had to postpone the start of her new Las Vegas residency at the Resorts World Theatre. She has been experiencing “severe and chronic muscle spasms, which are preventing her from performing,” Today reports, citing a press release.
Despite having a medical staff watching out for her, Celine is unable to practice for the new show due to her ailments. As a result, all 2021 concerts have been canceled along with those for January and February. Refunds have also been given.
Celine responded to the cancellation on Instagram by posting an image of the press release. I’m devastated by this, she captioned the photo. “My team and I have been working on our new show for the past eight months; it breaks my heart beyond measure that we won’t be able to debut this November.” On November 5, 2021, the shows were scheduled to debut.
Celine followed her statement by expressing her feeling of betraying everyone who helped her make the concerts a reality. Although she admitted that she has to concentrate on improving, she also apologized to her supporters.
All of Celine’s performances between November 5 and November 20 as well as those scheduled between January 19 and February 5 of 2022 have been canceled. However, the epidemic did not affect the date of her world tour, which is still set for March 2022.
Additionally, the North American portion of Celine Dion’s 2022 global tour had to be scrapped.
Celine announced on her website that the North American leg of her Courage World Tour would be scrapped on January 15, 2022. Celine would have been the first performer at Resorts World, the newest hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, during this most recent residency. She was supposed to appear alongside Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, and Katy Perry when the residency was first announced. It’s unclear if the dates with her special guests will be rescheduled in light of the latest cancellation.
